RYA Safety Boat

 

2 Day Course

The RYA Safety Boat course aims to introduce the safety techniques for those who wish to provide rescue and safety cover for training centres or for use when escorting racing fleets of dinghies, windsurfers and canoes and assisting in race management. It is strongly recommended that you should hold a first aid certificate and a VHF Radio operators license. The syllabus covers the safe rescue of crews and prevention of further damage to boats and equipment.

Pre-requisite: RYA Powerboat Level 2
